Each portion of this text comprises notes, comments, and questions that stretch the reader’s thinking capability. It consists of all leading cases in environmental law in the country, with the extensiveness of an American law case text.

At the end of this book, the authors have included appendices that cover the Air Act, the Environmental Act, the Forest Act, and the Water Act. The readers are also given insights into several rules and regulations pertaining to noise, the environment, and the seacoast. About The Authors

Shyam Divan is an author.

Divan currently serves as an Advocate at the Bombay High Court.

Armin Rosencranz is an author and professor.

Apart from this book, Rosencranz has written Economic Approaches For A Green India, Lawyers In The House Of Commons, and Climate Change Science And Policy.

Rosencranz completed his A.B. in Politics from Princeton University and then went on to obtain his J.D. from the Stanford Law School. He finished his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Political Science from Stanford University. Rosencranz was presented the Phi Beta Kappa Distinguished Teaching Award, and the Teacher of the Year Award by the Associated Students of Stanford University. He currently serves as a Consulting Professor of International Relations at Stanford University, where he teaches Energy and Climate.
