INFRASTRUCTURE CONTRACTS AND MANAGEMENT

Born in Manthani, a town of rich culture in Telangana, he had his schooling there. After graduation in Civil Engineering from Osmania University and post graduation from I.I.T. Madras in 1985, he started career in teaching in N.I.T. Warangal. Afterwards he got selected to Central Engineering Services (IES) in 1987 and joined Civil Wing of AIR &TV. He obtained a degree in Law and did PG diploma in ADR from NALSAR. He obtained Ph.D in contract management on fair compensation for delay claims.

He has good experience in handling claims, litigations and disputes in various Arbitrations, DRBS and Conciliations. An expert in delay analysis and its methodologies. He has 35 years experience in administering contracts of Infrastructure projects and conversant with varied types of contracts including CPWD, FIDIC etc. Presently he is associated with NCC Ltd. Previously he was heading the contracts dept. of SEW Infrastructure Ltd.

He has presented 40 papers in national, international seminars and reputed journals. He is a visiting faculty for training programs for Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR) Hyderabad on contract management. Also a guest faculty for academic courses on contract management and dispute resolution subjects for National Academy of Construction (NAC) and NICMAR Hyderabad. He has delivered guest lectures and expert sessions in numerous prestigious institutes on management of Infrastructure contracts. He is a member in Board of Studies (BoS) Dept. of Civil Engg. Osmania University, Hyderabad.
